  • Worked for 6 months as House Surgeon in Department of Neurosurgery at Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals and Grant Medical College, Bombay during June -December, 1987.
  • M.Ch. (Neurosurgery) December, 1990 at first attempt from Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum. This institute is a central government autonomous body and has been declared an “Institute of National Importance” by an act of parliament. The M. Ch. Degree of this institute is a 3 year post M. S. course of senior residency and includes 3 years teaching along with other clinical responsibilities of a senior registrar in neurosurgery culminating in an elaborate examination of operating and clinical skills.
